Very interested in finding out if anyone is familiar with a copy of A Christmas Carol published by Barse and Hopkins New York. I have recently acquired this rare book and can not find any history of this edition. It is very old, with a suede like cover with a gold inscription of A Christmas Carol on the front cover. 145 pages. There is no publication date. On the very last page, bottom right, there is a stamp that looks like it says PAT. B MARCH 8, 1916 but I can not confirm that date being that it is very difficult to make out. Has anyone come across this book?
